Gairs has been a trailblazer in China’s air compressor industry since 1988, specializing in the development and production of water injected oil free single-screw air compressors. With over 37 years of experience in screw air compressor technology, we were the first pioneering manufacturer of this innovation in China. Our facilities cover an expansive 68,000 square meters, with a dedicated building area spanning 60,000 square meters. Our flagship product is the water-lubricated oil-free single screw air compressor, offering a range of exhaust pressures from 2 bar to 40 bar and air delivery volumes from 1.2m³ to 60m³/min. In 2024, we launched a co-brand called Klina – offering a wide range of oil injected rotary screw compressors and economical oil free single screw compressors that meets the different needs of different customers.

1988In 1988, Gairs embarked on a groundbreaking journey by introducing China's first single-screw air compressor. This micro oil-injected single screw compressor marked the beginning of our legacy, revolutionizing the domestic compressor industry.

1998Recognizing the importance of environmental stewardship, Gairs transitioned towards water-injected oil-free technology. In 1998, we proudly introduced our first water-lubricated oil-free single screw air compressor, setting new standards for eco-friendly compressor solutions in the market. -
2002In 2002, Gairs launched the low-pressure (3-4 bar) model. This innovative product was specifically developed to meet the demands of users in industries such as glass bottling and fermentation, who previously relied on pressure-reducing valves on standard pressure models to achieve low-pressure effects.

2008The year 2008 marked a significant milestone with the launch of the world’s first two-stage water lubricated oil-free single screw compressor (model OGWBE), capable of achieving exhaust pressures up to 40 bar. This innovation underscored our leadership in high-pressure compressor technology, meeting diverse industrial demands with efficiency and reliability. -
2016In 2016, we developed and launched the two-stage energy-saving OGWYC model for standard pressure (8-10 bar) applications, further enhancing our product offerings to meet evolving market needs.

2024Continuing our tradition of innovation, Gairs has completed developing new models with pressures up to 60 bar, gas compressor and steam compressor all using single screw technology. Additionally, we are also pioneering the use of single screw technology for compressing natural gas, further expanding the application of our innovative compressor designs.
