If you’re compressing air, you’ll likely need an air dryer! Air dryers are essential components in compressed air systems, designed to remove excess moisture from the air. They can be integrated into the compressor or used as standalone units. The two main types of air dryers are:
Refrigerated Dryer. This type of dryer cools the compressed air, causing moisture to condense and separate from the air. Refrigerant dryers are the most common option for compressed air systems. We offer the SAD series, designed to suit most low-pressure compressor models (≤1.3 MPa), and the SHAD series, tailored for more demanding high-pressure models (≤4.0 MPa), ensuring efficient moisture control in various applications.
Desiccant Dryer. Desiccant air dryers remove moisture from compressed air by using desiccant materials that adsorb water vapor. These dryers are ideal for industries requiring exceptionally dry, clean air, such as pharmaceuticals and chemicals, ensuring high-quality air for sensitive applications. They can be further divided into two types, heatless and heated desiccant dryers. Heatless type (SAD-WXF Series) use compressed air to regenerate desiccant, while heated type (SAD-MXF Series) use external heat. Both types provide ultra-dry air for critical applications, like pharmaceuticals.

Air Compressor System Installation Guide
Since water-injected oil-free single screw compressors contain no oil, installing the C and T series air filters is typically sufficient. However, for more demanding applications, such as in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, additional A series filters or sterilizing filters are required to meet stringent compressed air quality standards.
